Review of ProExtender Penis Enlarger

This review will examine the ProExtender device designed to enlarge the penis. This product was designed and developed by the Danamedic company in Denmark. Its inventor is Jorn Ege Siana, M.D., who is a plastic surgeon who has been acknowledged as an expert in lengthening the penis, both by surgical and non-surgical methods, since 1993.

How Does ProExtender Work?

Rather than using invasive surgery to make the penis longer, the ProExtender is a mechanical device that makes use of the traction principle. When constant tension is applied to any part of the human body, its natural reaction is to cause the affected cells of tissue to grow and increase in number, thus causing the tissue to expand. Evidence of how this principle works and has been utilized may be seen in some members of tribes in Africa and South America who make their lips, ears or necks longer.

How is ProExtender Made?

The construction of the ProExtender is based upon the following parts: There is a plastic ring that fastens around the base of the penis. Attached to the ring are two metal rods, each of which has a system of springs within a tube. Finally, a plastic support follows the two metal rods, and through holes in the support run a silicone tube, the purpose for which is to attach the glans of the penis.

How is the ProExtender Used?

Care must be taken when the ProExtender is initially attached to prevent soreness. A protective pad is supplied to ensure a level of comfort is maintained, while the traction is gradually increased over a period of time by adjusting two thumbscrews located on the metal rods. For the first two to three weeks, it is recommended that the ProExtender be used for not more than four to five hours per day, with a traction force no greater than 900 grams. Over a period of weeks, and extending for a duration of from three to six months, the force of traction may be increased for a maximum of 1200 grams.

Clinical tests of men who used the ProExtender as directed have shown an average increase in erect penis length of 2.8 centimeters (1.1 inches), with an increase of the flaccid penis length of 1.9 centimeters (.75 inches). This test was based on 1100 hours usage at 1200 grams of force. All of the patients in the study achieved some degree of penis lenghtening, and there were no complications.

Although it has been shown that the ProExtender may be effective in increasing the length of the penis, caution should be used on this particularly delicate and sensitive part of the body. Usage instructions should be followed very carefully and in no cases should the manufacturers guidelines of usage time frames or force be exceeded.
